60mmol的1-己烯與20mmol的甲硼烷在THF中首先制成三己基硼的溶液。連接計氮計。冰鹽浴冷卻，攪拌下于20min加入重氮丙酮20mmol溶于15mLTHF的溶液，保持反應液溫度在20℃。此時有90%的以上的氮氣放出。室溫攪拌反應30min。再回流30min，以使氮氣放出完全。冰浴冷卻。加入3mol/L的氫氧化鉀20mL。室溫攪拌2h，倒入冰水中，戊烷提取（60mL×3）。氣相色譜分析證明含89%2-壬銅和少量的1-己醇。干燥后蒸出溶劑，得1.86g2-壬酮，收率65%。 [2]
