Product characteristics

Hafnium nitride nanoparticles (HFN) were prepared by aerosol ablation method. They have high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area, high surface activity, gray powder, cubic crystal structure. Microhardness 16gpa. It is quite stable, but it is easily corroded by aqua regia, concentrated sulfuric acid and hydrofluoric acid. It is produced by direct reaction of hafnium and nitrogen at 900 ℃, or by reaction of hafnium halide with ammonia or nitrogen and hydrogen mixture. It is an important component of HF alloy.
